James & Emma @ London’s Shad Thames
Ahead of their Christmas wedding at the Ravensbourne Venue, Emma and James chose a location a little closer to home for their pre-wedding couples shoot. Much to my approval they chose a location that was once very close to home for myself, and, buy the way, is pretty damn awesome for a cool city style photo shoot…..as well as a drink along the Thames.
Shad Thames and City Hall are with out question an absolute spectacle of a shoot location, as the below very clearly shows. The looming buildings of city life and business along with the historic notions and ideas that the view of the River Thames throws up in your mind are quite simple a treat to be a part of. The towering high walls of Shad Thames itself are very reminiscent of the old Dockyards on which location is situated, giving a sense of history and grandeur hard to find outside of Inner London. All that aside….its such a cool place right haha! Every opportunity to get back to this area with camera in hand is greatly and enthusiastically accepted!
