Joe & Jess @ The Ferry House
So….Joe and Jess got married at the Ferry House in Kent, in June, in the sun, in front of the coolest collection of wedding guests around, and it was totally wicked!!! Tuxedos and Vans, smoke bombs and live music, champagne all day long and a whole load of tears…..mostly from Joe! Nothing wrong with showing some emotion fellas!
I have shot a number of weddings at the Ferry House of late and they have all been amazing, the venues love for what they do certainly matches my own, which is so clear to see and completely appreciated by everyone, couples, guests and wedding industry folk alike.
Joe and Jess perfectly balanced the tradition and the modern with their shades of cream, personalised Vans and tuxedoed groomsmen. My instincts for spotting awesome, one off moments, at every turn were in overdrive today as cool moments were in abundance all day long. One of my fave pics of the year so far (first pic below), Joes glassy eyed reaction to seeing his daughter accompany his soon to be wife down the aisle, to then be comforted my his brother……that is documentary wedding photography people…… that is what I do.
